Synopsis
World Alone is a music video for Tony Iommi. Trapped inside the neon-lit, industrial decay of a bleak dystopian world, a reclusive hacker code-named 'The Believer' has spent years preparing for a reckoning. Surrounded by the hum of illegal servers and a mountain of forbidden research, his isolation is broken when an unexpected delivery arrives at his doorstep. Inside is a fragmented map and a mysterious, high-tech cartridge—the final pieces of a puzzle he has risked everything to solve. With the walls closing in, he slots the cartridge into his virtual reality machine and enters into a new world. He is thrown headfirst into a nightmarish, glitch-ridden video game world designed to break his mind and kill his avatar. To survive the simulation, he must conquer a series of deadly trials, while being chased by an ominous black smoke called ’the darkness’,. If he outsmarts the system, and follows the tattered map to its final destination he might find what he’s been looking for all these years. But as the boundaries between virtual reality and real-world survival blur, he discovers what truly awaits him at the end of the simulation. He is left with one question; is salvation is worth the ultimate cost?
